Mercedes-Benz F800 granted production codename name. Sales set for 2013.

Mercedes-Benz has formalised plans to produce the striking F800 Style concept by giving it an official codename: C117.
The new four door is planned to enter the German car maker's line-up as a replacement for the discontinued CLC in 2013 positioned below the soon-to-be-facelifted C-class.
Based on Mercedes-Benz new MFA platform, with a transverse engine and front-wheel drive (and the option of four-wheel drive), the producton version of the F800 Style will offer a choice of gasoline, diesel and hybrid drive.
